What time are your worship services?

Our worship services begin with Sunday School each Sunday morning at 9 am. We have classes for all age groups. Our main worship service starts at 10:15 am each Sunday morning and our evening service begins at 6 pm each Sunday evening. Our weekly prayer meeting begins at 7 pm each Wednesday night.

Are there services for my children or teenagers during the worship service?

We offer a separate worship service for kids ages 4-11 during our Sunday morning worship service at 10:15 am, during our Sunday evening worship service at 6 pm, and during our Wednesday night prayer meeting at 7 pm. We call it Kids Church! For our teenagers, they have their own worship/ bible study in the youth room during our Wednesday night prayer meeting beginning at 7 pm and join in with the congregation on Sunday mornings and evenings. Nursery is also available on Sunday mornings and evenings as well for children up to 3 years of age.

What kind of clothes should I wear?

In our church, you will see various types of dress from various types of people! Some will wear a suit or dress while others will wear their blue jeans, and either is perfectly okay by us! We believe that the most important aspect of your worship is your HEART not your clothes.

What kind of music will I hear/sing?

We prefer a balanced blend of contemporary and traditional Christian songs/hymns. Our main concern is that the words that we are singing are just as important as the words that we are preaching/teaching! As long as a song has proper theology (that is to say that what is being sung is scripturally accurate) in it’s lyrics, you may hear it played at GSBC!
